Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Short version: MindDiary AI is built around private reflection and permissioned memory. In the current MVP test build, your diary entries, memory items, and usage state are stored locally on your device. The current production Android release does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, account creation, billing, location access, camera access, microphone access, or a MindDiary-operated cloud database.

Important: MindDiary AI is a reflection and journaling tool. It is not a medical device, mental health provider, therapist, emergency service, or crisis support service. If you may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis hotline immediately.

1. Who We Are

MindDiary AI is operated by Rahat Labs. This policy explains how MindDiary AI handles information when you use the mobile app and this website.

2. Information You Enter

MindDiary AI may contain highly personal reflections. Depending on how you use the app, the information you enter may include:

3. Local Storage in the Current MVP

The current MindDiary AI MVP stores app data locally on your device using platform storage provided by Flutter's shared preferences plugin. This includes the diary model, approved memories, and app usage state.

Rahat Labs does not currently operate a MindDiary cloud account system or server-side diary database for this MVP. If you uninstall the app, clear app data, or lose your device, locally stored app data may be deleted and may not be recoverable.

4. AI Processing

The current MVP is designed as an early test build for the MindDiary product experience. If future versions connect to hosted AI services for real-time generation, sync, backup, subscription management, or other online features, this policy and the in-app privacy disclosures must be updated before those features are released.

MindDiary's product principle is permissioned memory: the app should ask before turning reflections into durable memories and should give you controls to edit, pin, or forget those memories.

5. Analytics, Ads, and Tracking

The current production Android release does not include advertising SDKs, third-party behavioral analytics SDKs, Firebase Analytics, or data broker SDKs.

This website may receive basic hosting logs from the hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention, and site reliability.

6. App Permissions

The current production Android manifest for MindDiary AI does not request camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, health data, notification, or storage permissions.

Debug and profile development builds may include internet permission for Flutter development tooling. That development permission is not the same as a production data collection practice.

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

The current MVP does not include active in-app purchase or subscription processing. If paid plans are added, purchase processing will be handled through Google Play, Apple App Store, or another disclosed payment provider. MindDiary should not receive your full payment card details from those app-store billing systems.

8. Data Deletion

Because the current MVP stores app data locally, you can delete your local MindDiary data by using in-app reset controls where available, clearing the app's storage through your device settings, or uninstalling the app.

If future versions add accounts, cloud sync, hosted AI logs, or backups, MindDiary must provide a clear deletion process for server-side data.

9. Data Sharing

Rahat Labs does not sell MindDiary diary entries, approved memories, or reflection content. The current MVP does not include social sharing, public profiles, ad targeting, or a MindDiary-operated cloud memory database.

We may disclose limited information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to operate this website and app infrastructure through service providers. For the current local-first MVP, Rahat Labs does not have a central diary database to search or hand over.

10. Children's Privacy

MindDiary AI is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through MindDiary AI, contact us so we can review the issue.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as MindDiary AI evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or store listing.
